Second Destination for The Fly on the wall: A Sustainable Milestone at Istanbul Film Station!

What an inspiring three days it has been for The Fly on the wall! Following our transformative week in Sofia, our project made its second stop at the Istanbul Film Station (IFS) 2026, and we are incredibly thrilled to share our latest milestone with you.

Selected as one of the finalists out of 132 short film submissions, The Fly on the wall participated in IFS’s rigorous three-day program dedicated to ethical and sustainable independent cinema. The event was entirely filled with hope and creative energy. We had the invaluable opportunity to listen to deeply insightful talks and gain fresh perspectives from our esteemed mentors, Samir Karahoda and Edoardo Fracchia, while making fantastic connections with fellow filmmakers and industry professionals.

The absolute highlight of the event for us came during the final pitching sessions. We are beyond proud to announce that The Fly on the Wall has been awarded the EcoFilm Sustainable Film Production Support!

As the Vapur team, we are highly enthusiastic about exploring this vital area of filmmaking. Integrating eco-friendly and sustainable production practices into our animation pipeline is a challenge we are eager to take on, and this consultancy award provides the perfect foundation to do so.
